Alexander Fox Hofbauer (Sloan)

Alexander is about to enter business school in the fall. Interested in helping athletes hold onto their money, he has little interest in losing his own money in the field of entertainment.  And yet, certain parts of his family keep pulling him back in.

Franklin Fox Newby (Young Sloan, music by)

An ex-egyptophile, Franklin is now a high school sophomore and a month away from his drivers license. Jaded and unpredictable, he often wonders why his parents can’t kill each other instead of hounding him about grades and homework. He’d much rather be riding the subway to Little Tokyo or catching a show at The Smell. Despairing about his classical music training, yet unable to mask his raw talent, he’ll have to suffer through all the tortures his parents put him through.

A talented cinematographer. One of Franklin’s torturers. He is tortured himself by the fact that he moved to Los Angeles for the film business only to have it move away. Trying to hold onto his family and his house, he divides his time between Los Angeles and wherever the latest film incentives take him.

Suffering from being equally left and right brained, she is constantly fighting with herself. Having been a successful producer and production manager until her children and the lack of good scripts drove her mad, she is coming back using her recent experiences and her horror at the rise of the tea party as a springboard for this next phase of her career.
